Overview

Monroe County ISD provides assistive-technology services to support students whose IEP teams identify AT needs. The program offers an AT consideration process, device requests and trial periods, staff coaching and consultation, and resources covering augmentative and alternative communication, switch access, visual-impairment technology, core vocabulary and related tools. Communication devices can be loaned to students through the program.
