Privacy
The Support Index is designed so visitors can browse resources without creating an account or submitting a diagnosis.
Browsing the index
You do not need an account to search, filter, or read public content. The site does not ask visitors to enter diagnoses, medical records, disability documentation, or details about a child simply to browse the directory.
Newsletter signups
If you subscribe, the name, email address, preferred language, consent time, and subscription status you provide are stored so the newsletter can be delivered when an email service is connected. Email delivery is not active yet. Duplicate signups using the same email address update the existing subscription rather than creating a second record.
Contact messages and resource submissions
Contact messages, resource suggestions, and educational-presentation inquiries are stored so they can be reviewed and responded to. These records are not publicly readable through the site.
Do not submit medical records, Social Security numbers, insurance member IDs, passwords, banking information, or other highly sensitive personal information through these forms.
Automatic translation
English is the source language. If you choose one of the automatic translation options, the site opens Google Translate with the public page URL and your selected language so Google can provide a translated version. That translated page is operated by Google and is subject to Google's own privacy practices. The Support Index does not intentionally place contact-form, newsletter, or resource-submission contents into the translation URL.
Public listings
Published resource listings may contain public business or organizational information, such as a website, public phone number, public email address, location, service area, and information about programs offered. Suggested resources are not published automatically.
Third-party sites
Listings may link to organizations and services we do not operate. Their privacy practices are their own, so review those policies before submitting personal information to a third party.
